Precautions for Testing the Leakage Current Tester TOS3200 in Kikushi, Japan!!

Here, I will briefly introduce the precautions to be taken when using the Japanese KIKUSUI TOS3200 leakage current tester

Testing precautions
1. When measuring leakage current at working temperature, if the tested electrical device is not powered by an isolation transformer, the tested electrical device should be insulated with a reliable material insulation pad and ground insulation. Otherwise, some leakage current will flow directly through the ground without passing through the leakage current tester, affecting the accuracy of the test data.
2. Leakage current measurement is carried out with electricity, and the shell of the tested electrical device is charged. Therefore, testers must pay attention to safety, and various laboratories should develop safety operating procedures. Before cutting off the current, they must not touch the tested electrical appliances.
3. Efforts should be made to minimize the impact of the environment on test data. The temperature, humidity, and contamination of the insulation surface in the testing environment have a significant impact on leakage current. High temperature and humidity can lead to severe contamination of the insulation surface, resulting in larger measured leakage current values.
